STELLA CORVI is about creation.

A journey starting at the beginning of creation, when all was energy, all was unified thought, and all decided to descend - into matter.
Every piece of the collection stands as the physical representation of one of the stages of this transition, illustrated as numbered stars on the Astral Map.
Hot with the condensed power of the elements, the pieces are molten metal, shiny and pure. Like quicksilver, blossoming in unexpected shapes under the influence of the primordial vibration, they become the medium through which the invisible becomes visible, allowing us to witness twenty-one different stages of creation, in some of which matter was yet to come and some others in which it has already melt away.
Ethereal subtle energy (1) precipitates, gradually acquiring density, all the way down to solid matter (8), the very same substance that constitutes the objects that surround us and the body we inhabit. The black stars.
Once the solid state has been reached, evolution comes to a temporary halt. Unable to precipitate further, and unable to go back up the ladder it descended from, a new way has to be found.
The white stars. Hinting at the invisibility of constellations during the day - light hiding in the light -, the path to ascension is not written nor universal: each will find their own.
STELLA CORVI is about creation, ever evolving, fluid, mysterious, alive, portraying the interaction between the visible and the invisible, drawing a path and suggesting a circularity, but not closing the circle, as the universe keeps expanding and our stories with it.

01 - NUIT
<< Falls the night briskly, like a heavy curtain after a vague warning. And everything is enveloped in a brand new skin. The world is dipped in velvety darkness; black soil emerges as the Nile crawls back into its bed. The naked goddess bends over, bridging east and west: we are back to one, or more precisely, we are back to Zero. The first evening star rises, making way for its sisters:the Gate is open! Pass through!

02 - GEMINI VAULT
<< Foreign land.
All rocks gently under the influence of concealed creative forces. Permeating the fabric of space, a unified presence aums beneath the surface. Then slow, the directionless seems to find direction and flow. Gradually at first, then like a river, gathering force, gaining momentum, speed: and at the peak of its power it comes to a delta. In a dash of lightning all energy is released in a grand vault, suspended in between two pillars. The beginning of all creation. The alpha and the omega; both lie breathless under the starry dome, in wonder.
Separated but symmetric in the act of looking at each other through the mirror, a faint current flowing between them contains a ciphered promise, and one day, they are bound to reunite. >>
03 - MACHINA
<< Climbing down a spiderweb thread, descending.
Descending right into the eye of the storm, wide open. Fearless and pure, a drop of dew, fiordaliso blue (periwinkle tear), trickles down, down, to the heart of the machine. Tempest on a leash. Source of all power, a concealed engine spinning in the deeps, moving all universe and its reverse. Small ripples form around the source, quicksilver well tossing in its rhythmic dream.
Dark energy winds up, brushing against its liquid mirror skin and clenching it between its claws; and as one moves away from the whirlwind, untamed force cascades into symmetry and bliss. >>
04 - COSMIC BLOSSOM
<< Bewildered. Perfect harmony, sweetest essence of spring, comes together in a flickering bud. And as it hatches lazily, the universe starts manifesting. Warm light scatters in a multitude of speckles, concentric rings expanding endlessly in the framing darkness. It comes in waves, pouring inebriating nectar for light years, to the furthest star. The heavens dance. The utter beauty of transformation, ever evolving structure bridging chaos and order, continuously collapsing one into the other. And like the many petals of a flower, possibilities unfold. >>
05 - MEDYAN
<< Radiant, rebel energy escapes its ties. Liberation. Ecstatic joy fills the sky and rises. All is light and as it grows in power it shrinks in size, until all is condensed in a single, blessed point. Time stays still for a moment, rapt witness of the infinite potential. Then it melts and pierces the veil. One, two, three times. As an eye opening for the first time in the morning sun, it flashes iridescent hues of distant worlds in between its golden lashes. The twins are holding hands. >>
06 - LOVE MUSE
<< An harmonic frequency permeates all space. A faint perfume, angelic song played in the room above you. Lilies and roses on the day after. Standing tall on the crystal pedestal, pearlescent body right in the center of the universe, dressed in the black velvet of the night, the muse sings. Diamonds and silver fireflies cluster around it. Perpetual revolution and eternal spiral which all moves in yearning waves. Fountain of love, mercilessly pouring. Every single atom is enveloped in its rose embrace. >>
07 - SILVER COMET
<< Weightless masses of silver dust gather, shedding a homogeneous, faint light in a crystal clear darkness. Slowly shifting, strange figures move in the shimmering fog. Just as the cloud has no borders, each tiny particle remains fully visible, tiny sparks in a bigger net, letting out nothing but a soft buzz and little dry cracks of electrical discharge. Suspended. And suddenly a dash of white light, pure, incandescent amass, splits and paints a shiny wound across the nightly heavens and their masks. Nothing but speed, messenger of the gods, so fast it melts parts of itself and of the surrounding space, time, and matter, leaving it all behind to rearrange in new forms. >>
08 - SEED
<< Resting, silent. Occult, sheltered treasure of the universe, master of projection hiding inside itself. Round, flawless, pristine nucleus. There is no up or down, no centre. There is no now, no then, just "is". Still, slowly, an odd idea distills inside the even. Eons pass, or maybe it's just the blink of an eye. At last it drips into words; I WILL! Broken, complete no more, the balance is lost and the lonely star is set to fall. Zero no more, Aleph no more, it rains down though the matrix in a million white-hot fragments. Vibrant, lost, eager for love, cosmic seeds plug into matter.
